The American Dream

When we first acquired this property, we were unsure what would become of it. As we began to make renovations, we realized that in a world of rapid change and modernization, preserving pieces of history is just as important.

As first-generation Chinese Americans, we wanted this property to reflect our vision of classic American living—the kind we admired in old movies—as a way for us to bring our American Dream to life. The main house is filled with carefully selected antique art and furniture, creating a warm, old-country ambiance. The surrounding landscape has been thoughtfully renovated with ponds, bridges, stone masonry, and more, combining the traditional designs of East Asian architecture we cherish with the Western elements we admire, creating a unique and harmonious blend of both worlds. All forms of art tell a story from its time, and we’re proud to share our story with you through these renovations.
